Requirements
  • A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card is required.
  • The candidate must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Nurse under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Provide basic nursing services that ensure patient safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including basic nursing personal care services, hygiene, and grooming.
  • Assist the nursing staff.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and manage, prioritize, and complete work assignments and other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development certificate is preferred.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training course is preferred.
  • Relevant experience assisting with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing personal care services is preferred.
  • A current California Certified Nursing Assistant certificate is preferred.
