A Registered Nurse license for the state of New Jersey is required.
At least 1 year of full-time Registered Nurse nursing experience in an Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, or Intensive Care Unit is required.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications are required.
New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
The nurse must be able to properly utilize a confined space.
The nurse must be comfortable with heavy lifting as needed.
The nurse must have strong interpersonal skills and attention to patient comfort.
The nurse must be detail-oriented regarding protocol adherence and documentation compliance.
The nurse must be able to think quickly and react appropriately in critical situations without the presence of a physician.
The nurse must be able to maintain composure while working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with an Emergency Medical Technician crew to treat and provide care for critically ill patients on inter-facility transport ambulances.
Work three 12-hour shifts per week as a full-time transport nurse.
Desired Qualifications
Prior Specialty Care Transportation Unit experience is preferred but not required.

As a SCTU Nurse, you will work collaboratively with an EMT crew to treat and provide care for critically ill patients on an inter-facility transport ambulance.
Scheduling Information
Full-time Transport Nurses will work three 12-hour shifts per week.
Compensation
Less than 2 years of RN Experience $49.00 hr
2 or more years of RN Experience up to $55.44 hr
EMT/Paramedic Certified: Additional $5.00 hr
Overnight shift differential
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New Jersey

Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications required
Prior SCTU (Specialty Care Transportation Unit) experience preferred but not required
