Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • September 2026: LIONHEART-HCM sites are activating, and Braveheart expects first dosing this year.
  • May 2026 nHCM data supported NOBLEHEART-HCM, with U.S. IND open and Phase 3 planned.
  • Camzyos and aficamten validate cardiac myosin inhibition, expanding physician familiarity before Braveheart launches.

What critics are saying

  • Bristol Myers Squibb's Camzyos and Cytokinetics' aficamten already occupy the HCM market.
  • Braveheart owns one asset; a 2027 Phase 3 miss would wipe out its pipeline.
  • The Hengrui license concentrates supply and IP dependence outside China, risking leverage in setbacks.

What makes Braveheart Bio unique

  • BHB-1893’s March 2026 Phase 2 showed rapid LVOT gradient reductions with minimal LVEF change.
  • Braveheart’s August 2026 IPO raised $439.9 million, funding Phase 3 through 2027.
  • Travis Murdoch and Chris Viehbacher bring Biogen-era execution credibility from HI-Bio and Biogen.
