  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions transactional experience, knowledge of technology, services, and new media transactions

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Legal resource for Sony Pictures’ legal entity rationalization process
  • Advise throughout the entire process, from identifying subject entities to transferring assets and winding up and dissolving entities
  • Draft, negotiate, and review corporate and commercial documents
  • Post-transaction integration and coordinating with other specialists, including Tax, Finance, Labor, and Intellectual Property
  • Advise and work closely with colleagues in production, post-production, distribution, and marketing
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional experience with the media, entertainment and/or technology industries is preferred but not necessary
  • Valuable areas of expertise include intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, complex commercial transactions, and experience in developing and implementing business processes
