- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is essential.
- Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills.
- A strong guest-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering memorable experiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, in line with a rotating roster.
- Full working rights in Australia are required.
- Strong working knowledge of banquets, functions and events service styles and standards.
- A genuine passion for service excellence, with a strong desire to continually learn and grow.
- Assisting in organising and controlling the day-to-day operations of our large-volume, award-winning conference and catering facilities.
- Delivering smooth, efficient and courteous service to guests throughout all functions.
- Maintaining clear, consistent and up-to-date communication to ensure all relevant departments understand their responsibilities in relation to daily function activities.
- Liaising closely with the culinary team to coordinate the day's activities.
- Supervising, and assisting with the training and development of our ambassadors.
- Contributing to the banquets leadership team and helping to drive team engagement.
- Previous experience within a hotel events, banquets or conference and events team is highly desirable.
