  • The ideal candidate will be majoring in Communications, Political Science, Finance, or Business Administration, or pursuing a related graduate or law degree.
  • Only candidates entering their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies or pursuing graduate studies will be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Cover designated events on Capitol Hill, such as hearings and markups.
  • Report on open meetings at the Securities and Exchange Commission and other agencies.
  • Draft correspondence and other communications pieces.
  • Conduct legislative and other research.
  • Assist in the preparation of meeting materials.
  • Monitor and report on state-level activities related to financial services.
Desired Qualifications
  • Work experience in a financial, brokerage or investment environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Capitol Hill is also a plus.
