- A Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or Telecommunications is required.
- At least 8 years of experience designing Information Technology or Information & Communication Technology systems is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and Bluebeam review is required.
- Familiarity with network design and analysis tools is required.
- Familiarity with International Air Transport Association, International Civil Aviation Organization, and airport authority requirements related to Information Technology and Information & Communication Technology systems is required.
- Understanding of airport operational concepts, passenger processing systems, and terminal planning is required.
- Good understanding of electrical supply and electrical systems is required.
- Experience working with Information Technology and Information & Communication Technology system suppliers and integrators is required.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling workflows and data management is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative Building Information Modeling team is required.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud or ProjectWise, Navisworks, and clash detection workflows is required.
- Experience in airport terminal development, expansion, and modernization projects is required.
- Develop Information & Communication Technology master plans and technology strategies for airport development projects.
- Identify current and future operational requirements and establish scalable technology frameworks supporting airport growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation objectives.
- Lead the planning and design of Information & Communication Technology infrastructure, including structured cabling systems, fiber optic backbone networks, telecommunications rooms, equipment rooms, network architecture, communication pathways, and airport-wide connectivity solutions.
- Support the planning and integration of Airport Operational Systems, including Airport Operational Databases, Resource Management Systems, Flight Information Display Systems, and operational reporting systems.
- Develop and coordinate technology solutions supporting passenger processing operations, including Common Use Passenger Processing Systems, Common Use Self-Service, self-bag drop systems, biometric technologies, e-gates, and passenger information systems.
- Design and integrate airport communication systems, including telephony systems, radio communications, voice networks, intercom systems, public address systems, emergency communication systems, and operational communications infrastructure.
- Plan and design local area networks, wide area networks, wireless networks, Wi-Fi infrastructure, network security architecture, and communications backbone systems supporting airport operations and passenger services.
- Support the design of airport data centers, server rooms, disaster recovery facilities, equipment rooms, and critical Information & Communication Technology infrastructure.
- Ensure that high availability, redundancy, resilience, and business continuity requirements are incorporated into system designs.
- Incorporate cybersecurity requirements into airport Information & Communication Technology systems and infrastructure.
- Support the development of secure network architectures, access control strategies, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk mitigation measures aligned with industry standards and airport operational needs.
- Coordinate interfaces between Information & Communication Technology systems and other airport systems, including security systems, baggage handling systems, building management systems, airfield systems, passenger processing technologies, and operational platforms.
- Ensure effective interoperability and seamless data exchange between integrated airport systems.
- Collaborate with airport planners, architects, structural engineers, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designers, security consultants, operational stakeholders, airlines, and technology vendors to integrate Information & Communication Technology systems into the overall airport development program.
- Assess existing airport Information & Communication Technology infrastructure and operational technology systems.
- Identify gaps, capacity constraints, obsolescence risks, and upgrade opportunities while developing technology modernization and lifecycle replacement strategies.
- Engage with airport operators, airlines, regulatory authorities, technology suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders to define requirements, facilitate workshops, resolve technical issues, and support successful project delivery.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or airport projects is preferred.
- Autodesk Revit experience is optional.
- Awareness of Civil 3D for coordination purposes is desirable.
- Experience working on United Kingdom, Middle East, or international aviation projects is preferred.

The company's nuclear segment generated $671.2 million in revenue, up 18.3% year-over-year, whilst Nuclear Segment Adjusted EBIT rose 20.8% to $77.0 million. AtkinsRéalis raised its full-year 2026 nuclear revenue outlook to approximately $2.7 billion from $2.5 billion. SPEA's collective agreements with Candu Energy, an AtkinsRéalis subsidiary, expire at year-end. SPEA President Mark Chudak said fair agreements must recognise employees' contributions. The results follow Canada's June nuclear strategy, which targets building up to 10 new large-scale reactors and establishing at least four international markets for Canadian reactor technology by 2040.
AtkinsRéalis reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $3.0 billion, up 10% year-over-year, with segment adjusted EBIT increasing 10% to $271.4 million. The engineering services and nuclear company achieved a quarterly record adjusted EBITDA of $292.9 million, up 14%. Diluted earnings per share reached $0.59, whilst adjusted diluted EPS rose 20% to $0.97. The company generated $83.5 million in net cash from operating activities and held a backlog of $20.2 billion at quarter's end. Nuclear revenue grew 18% to $671.2 million, prompting the company to raise its full-year nuclear revenue outlook to approximately $2.7 billion from $2.5 billion. Engineering services regions revenue increased 5% to $2.0 billion. AtkinsRéalis returned $245.0 million to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends during the quarter.
AtkinsRéalis has appointed Amy Bunszel and Bill Ruh to its board of directors, effective 13 July 2026. The appointments aim to strengthen the board's capabilities in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and emerging technologies. Bunszel is executive vice president of Autodesk's Architecture, Engineering and Construction business, overseeing a global software portfolio and a team of more than 2,000 professionals. She has over 25 years of experience leading product and digital transformations. Ruh is a technology executive with more than 35 years of experience in digital transformation. He previously served as CEO of GE Digital and chief digital officer at General Electric, where he led industrial digital transformations and deployed AI and cloud platforms. The appointments follow a selection process led by the Governance, Ethics and Sustainability Committee.
AtkinsRéalis Group has announced Byron Bright will become President, US, on 1 July 2026, succeeding Steve Morriss, who will continue leading the global Minerals & Metals business until year-end. The company has also been appointed by EDF and Sizewell C Limited to a long-term professional services framework for UK nuclear projects. The appointments reinforce AtkinsRéalis' position in nuclear, transport and infrastructure sectors, supporting a multiyear stream of UK nuclear work. However, analysts note earnings may contract from recent levels, with concerns about margin sustainability and reliance on non-cash earnings. Community fair value estimates range between CA$99.37 and CA$117.29, with shares potentially trading 17% above fair value despite recent pullbacks. AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. has appointed Byron Bright as President, U.S., effective 1 July 2026, succeeding Steve Morriss in a planned transition.
