Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing duties as a psychometrician
  • Experience researching, designing, and evaluating assessments for selection purposes
  • Experience working with federal government agencies
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
Responsibilities
  • Development of competency models defined by subject matter expert ratings on tasks, work behaviors and competencies, for use in human capital functions such as career development, selection, performance management, job family identification, vacancy announcements, skills gap assessments, etc.
  • Conduct job task analyses for one or more occupational functions across DoD and Federal Civilian Agencies, including electronic surveys, data collection, analysis, and report delivery
  • Psychometric assessment development and analysis including Job-Specific Situational Judgment Tests, job simulations, behavioral or situational interviews, Job Knowledge Tests, and other competency-based inventories or knowledge tests
  • Train personnel in organizational or compliance procedures
  • Utilize job assessment instruments and competency measurements based on results of systematic job analyses
  • Interact with clients to understand needs, agency strategy, and challenges; provide client-facing advisory support
  • Advise others on human resources topics
  • Analyze business or financial data
  • Analyze jobs using observation, survey, or interview techniques
  • Apply industrial/organizational psychology principles to the workplace
  • Arrange collective bargaining agreements
  • Assess job performance to increase business efficiency
  • Communicate with government agencies
  • Conduct literature reviews, validity transportability studies, and build and validate custom assessments
  • Conduct surveys in organizations
  • Design, validate, and evaluate assessments for selection purposes
  • Develop assessments in accordance with legal and industry standards and Federal Government psychometrics guidelines
  • Support organizational mergers and transitions
  • Establish business management methods
  • Evaluate effectiveness of personnel policies or practices
  • Help businesses hire more qualified employees and train and motivate workforce
  • Improve organizational structure and work to improve quality of life for employers and employees
  • Inform individuals or organizations of status or findings
  • Market products, services, or events
  • Monitor organizational compliance with regulations
  • Oversee business processes
  • Prepare operational reports
  • Prepare research reports
  • Verify application data to determine program eligibility
  • Work within human resources offices
Desired Qualifications
  • Instructor certification highly desired
  • Experience with Fed Government training programs highly desired
  • Experience working in Federal Government and understanding of related processes and terminology highly desired
  • Clearance Level: Must be able to attain Secret or Top Secret/ SCI + Polygraph Clearance Level
  • Experience in areas such as pre-hire assessments, job analysis techniques, competency modeling
  • Project management, self-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience working with a crowdsourcing Internet marketplace to test assessment measures
