Requirements
  • Big 4 accounting or valuation firm experience
  • Proficient writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • 3-5+ years of post-graduate working experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of ASC 820 and ASC 825 accounting principles
  • Manage the quarterly valuation of loans, servicing rights, rate locks and securitization related investments
  • Serve as point of contact external auditors on valuation-related questions
  • Manage relationships with third-party valuation firms
  • Prepare and present quarterly Valuation working group materials to key stakeholders
  • Prepare valuation-related journal entries
  • Collaborate with stakeholders of the lending businesses
  • Engage with Financial Reporting team as needed on various valuation-related disclosures
  • Develop a working understanding of valuation best practices
