We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent to support our project locations located around the Northeast United States. As a Construction Traveling Superintendent, you will provide overall leadership and supervision to all on-site activities at our job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations of interior construction projects, luxury retail experience preferred
• Proven record of managing complex projects on short timetables
• Able to manage subcontractors, laborers, and direct reports effectively
• Communicate effectively and professionally with members of the Porject Managment team, clients and client reporesentatives, architechts, and engineers 
• Management of schedule, including weekly preparation of 3-week look ahead schedule
• Coordination between trades
• Dimension/layout verification
• Verify submittals
• Daily focus on job site safety and ensure security of job site perimeter 
• Capable of working in a team or independently as size of projects may dictate
• Manage closeout process and warranty responses with Project Manager
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
• Monitor costs, including labor time and materials
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings, including project and subcontractor meetings

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Five year minimum experience as Lead Superintendent in interior, high-end commercial general contracting
• Must possess a current Massachusetts Unrestricted Superintendent license
• Site work and ground-up building experience is a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work with tools to perform various phases of construction work is a plus
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
• Willingness to travel as needed
• High school diploma required; junior college or construction eduction desired
• 10 or 30 Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification required 

Software Systems 

• Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office experience required 
• Procore and Timberline/Sage experience preferred
