Requirements
  • 15+ years' experience working in high-performing public health or human/civil rights organizations
  • 5+ years leading high-performing public health or human/civil rights organizations
  • Strong relationships within NGOs and/or public health authorities working on LGBTQ-related issues
  • Experience using large digital platforms to help educate, empower, organize, and activate millions of people to advance social impact priorities
  • Experience working in the Global South
Responsibilities
  • Own and ensure execution of Grindr for Equality’s strategies to significantly accelerate progress on health and human rights priorities for the LGBTQ+ community globally
  • Serve as a key member of Grindr’s executive leadership team, reporting to the Head of Global Affairs and working collaboratively with Grindr’s CEO, Board members, and other executive leaders
  • Lead the Grindr for Equality team, maintaining operational excellence while mentoring and building the team’s capacity
  • Collaborate with the product team in expanding the Grindr platform’s capabilities to advance health and human rights priorities through educating, empowering, organizing, and activating the community of users
  • Oversee Grindr for Equality’s partnerships with LGBTQ+ non-governmental organizations and public health authorities
  • Support Grindr for Equality’s role as a critical liaison bringing key information from partner organizations on developments affecting users around the world
  • Serve as an ambassador for Grindr for Equality to key external and internal stakeholders in the U.S. and globally
