GoodRx is looking to bring on a VP of Business Development for the vitaCare team, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, vitaCare. You will be an important part of the commercial team focusing on providing subject matter expertise for the vitaCare/prescription services solution and selling innovative solutions on behalf of our growing manufacturer base of clients in the pharmaceutical space. You will be responsible for growing the client base for the vitaCare/prescription services solution, supporting the architecture and execution of our emerging strategy and supporting external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and grows business relationships with current and prospective pharmaceutical clients.
- Provides subject matter expertise to current and prospective pharmaceutical clients for hub, pharmacy/market access, and prescription services solutions.
- Provides subject matter expertise support to other VPs of BD
- Continually assesses revenue potential of the territory through analysis of the overall market, supports corporate goals, pipeline outlook and general industry intelligence in order to provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop effective program recommendations and proposals-Identifies expansion opportunities with existing clients and positions the Company continued growth
- Provides leadership with regular updates on sales-focused activities, including lead generation, competitive intelligence, and product opportunities-Keeps abreast of market conditions, competitive activities, and technological trends through ongoing research and engagement at industry and medical conferences, literature reviews and other sources.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required -10+ years’ of highly verticalized B2B sales focusing on pharmaceutical companies and pharmacy/market access services
- Experience selling direct to pharmaceutical manufacturers
- Established network of pharmacy/market access consultants and pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships
- Deep understanding of hub services and pharmacy/market access
- Knowledge of customer and reporting requirements-Excellent cross-functional working skills-Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Below are our salary ranges for this position based on office location:
San Francisco Office: $218,000 - $350,000
Florida Office: $164,000 - $263,000
