Baba

Medicare patient advocacy with care coordination

Baba helps Medicare and Medicare Advantage members navigate their healthcare. It connects older adults and their families with dedicated advocates—nurses, social workers, and benefits experts—who coordinate care with the support of AI tools. The advocates handle tasks like writing insurance appeals, obtaining medical equipment, finding cheaper prescriptions, arranging transportation, booking in-network specialist referrals, and helping patients transition home after hospital stays. The service is covered by Medicare for eligible members and available in all 50 states. Baba was founded in 2025 and is backed by investors including General Catalyst, FirstMark Capital, and CVS Health Ventures.
