The Role:
As a Talent & People Operations Coordinator at Morning Consult, you will play a vital role in enabling our growth by building and optimizing scalable processes that support our talent and people operations. In this position, you will ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience while driving operational excellence across our recruitment and people-related functions.
You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers and the People Operations team to provide a seamless transition from hire to onboarding and beyond. You’ll streamline workflows, analyze data and contribute to initiatives that align with our mission to attract, hire and retain the best talent. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll be Working on:
Recruitment Coordination & Support
- Scheduling interviews across multiple time zones and managing end-to-end candidate logistics
- Coordinating with candidates, hiring managers and interview panels to ensure a seamless recruitment experience
- Managing applicant tracking system (ATS) Lever as well as administrative functions in recruitment support tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and Notion
- As needed: sourcing, resume review, screens, requisition owner, etc.
People Operations Support
- Supporting onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires, including system access, paperwork and orientation coordination
- Running background checks and other compliance related tasks
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintaining accurate data across ATS, HRIS and other people-related tools.
- Generating and analyzing reports on hiring and people metrics (e.g., interview pass-through rates, retention rates, performance metrics, candidate experience and source effectiveness)
Process Optimization & Project Management
- Overseeing the development of dashboards and other analytical solutions to provide insight into hiring plans, progress to hiring goals and all other talent operational metrics
- Identifying automation opportunities and process improvements to improve candidate experience and drive strategic effectiveness initiatives (e.g., interviewer training, sourcing strategies, candidate exercise administration and grading)
- Developing and refining workflows for both recruitment and employee lifecycle operations
- Partnering with Talent, People and business leaders to define and scope needs and develop/lead execution of large project initiatives, change efforts and process improvements across Talent Acquisition
- Managing projects that span recruitment and people operations (e.g., onboarding programs, learning and development, performance and growth and interview training)
- Keeping timelines on track in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Communication and Relationship Building
- Acting as a bridge between candidates, employees, recruiters and the People Operations team
- Managing sensitive data and conversations with discretion and professionalism
About You and What You’ve Done:
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination, talent operations or HR operations, preferably in a hypergrowth or SaaS environment.
- Experience managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever or Workday.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with HRIS and People Operations tools (e.g., Rippling).
- Experience using, evaluating and recommending recruiting and/or people operations technology to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with candidates, hiring teams and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee and candidate data.
- Experience working with data reporting and analytics, including tools like Excel, Google Sheets or Tableau, to track hiring metrics and operational efficiency.
- Ability to optimize processes and improve workflows to drive efficiency in recruiting and onboarding.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented, positive and proactive mindset.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and change in a fast-growing environment.

The expected salary range for this position is $72,100 - $113,400, with a midpoint of $92,800.
In most cases, we target the midpoint of our salary ranges for new hire compensation. This placement is reflective of full proficiency in a role. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation and an equity grant, which will be discussed in your initial recruiter conversation.
