  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification or associate’s degree in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in facility management, building systems maintenance, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC systems, MAU, RAU, Scrubbers, Chillers, Boilers, Chemical and Waste Management, electrical systems, cleanroom environment (Temperature & Humidity Control and Pressure Control), UPW, PCW, Vacuum & CDA system, and experience working with specialty gases and chemicals.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, local laws and regulations as well as industry standards.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC systems, MAU, RAU, Scrubbers, Chillers, Boilers, Chemical and Waste Management, electrical systems, cleanroom environment (Temperature & Humidity Control and Pressure Control), UPW, PCW, Vacuum & CDA system and specialty gases and chemicals.
  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient condition.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and procedures for all facility systems.
  • Ensure the facility system is consistently operating at its optimum level.
  • Work with colleagues on facility improvement projects, including renovations, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Assist with implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and potential improvements.
  • Support with emergency repairs when necessary.
  • Ensure facility operations comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring and manage energy consumption to promote sustainability and reduce costs.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and best practices.
  • Track utility usage and costs, providing reports on energy efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure proper waste management and compliance to EPA requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, facility inspections, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to facility operations and maintenance status.
  • Work closely with facility staff, management, and other departments to address facility needs and support operational goals.
  • Provide training and support to staff on facility-related procedures and safety practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in facility management (e.g., Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP)).
  • Experience with energy management and sustainability practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the industry or facility type.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and update skills.
