Requirements
  • At least 7 years of media planning and buying experience with a strong foundation in media channel investment and activation.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent.
  • An analytical background and comfort working with data and numbers.
  • At least 5 years of people-management experience overseeing five or more reports in an account-management or client-services team.
  • Deep industry relationships with ad-tech firms, brand teams, and publisher or platform partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an understanding of how to add incremental value and communicate it to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the marketplace, build relationships, and co-lead channel negotiations as needed.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant media partners, including Google, Facebook, and Amazon.
  • Oversee multiple channel specialists, managing workflow and quality-assurance processes, providing strategic guidance and oversight, and ensuring operational excellence across tactical planning and buying.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for clients and internal teams for the client investment portfolio, with account-leadership oversight.
  • Represent multiple media channels using deep expertise from activating one or more channels.
  • Work with Channel Teams and Media Strategy to determine how to spend media dollars to drive outcomes.
  • Develop thought leadership on media-marketplace evolution and deliver a strong point of view and industry knowledge.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal practice leads and the full investment team.
  • Help deliver bespoke agency solutions and offerings to evolve client relationships.
  • Lead tactical-plan development and recommendations, ensuring cross-channel and channel recommendations align with media strategy and are supported by industry trends, competitive insights, and media insights.
  • Liaise with channel teams in creating, distributing, and evaluating requests for proposals in the marketplace.
  • Partner with channel teams to assess proposals and negotiate pricing and added value.
  • Create and maintain channel activations on holistic media plans and flow charts, including flighting, placements, targeting, and cost details.
  • Develop cross-channel budget-shift decisions and recommendations to maximize profitability and exceed client goals.
  • Oversee total dollars in market, monitor pacing, navigate over- and underspends by channel, and monitor cross-channel performance.
  • Establish processes as needed to deliver operational excellence across buying and execution.
  • Troubleshoot campaign-management issues, identify when to escalate to senior account leadership, and communicate issues appropriately to clients with cross-functional teams.
  • Liaise with Data and Analytics on cross-channel performance analysis and reporting.
  • Liaise with Data and Analytics and channel teams on optimization recommendations and opportunities.
  • Liaise with Data and Analytics and channel teams on learning agendas and test-and-learn strategies.

LiveRamp connects over 25,000 publisher domains and 500+ technology partners across 14 markets, enabling brands, retailers and media platforms to unify and activate data securely. The company has 1,300 employees and delivered a trailing five-year compound annual growth rate of 13%. The acquisition will position Publicis as a leader in data co-creation, enabling clients to build more intelligent AI agents by combining multiple data sources securely. Mayo-born entrepreneur Niall McGarry has sold Fabric Social to Publicis Groupe UK, a division of the world's largest communications group. The company reported revenues of £13 million (€14.9 million) in the 12 months to March 2026 and employed 110 people at the time of sale. Fabric Social was profitable and served blue-chip clients in Britain including Sky, Subway EMEA, Currys, Morrisons, Just Eat, Autotrader, Holland & Barrett and Vodafone. The company also operated a smaller Irish business as a retained social agency. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Publicis acquires 160over90, declares sports marketing its 'next big bet

Publicis Groupe has acquired sports marketing agency 160over90 from WME Group for an undisclosed sum, positioning sports as its "next big bet" for growth. The deal is pending regulatory approval. Founded in 2001, 160over90 employs over 670 people across the US, UK, EMEA and APAC, working with global brands on major sporting events including the Super Bowl, Olympics and World Cup. The agency will join Publicis Sports, led by CEO Suzy Deering. Publicis is forming a partnership with WME to enable collaborations between its agencies and WME's talent roster. The acquisition follows Publicis' purchases of sports agencies Adopt and Bespoke in 2025 and creator marketing agency Influential in 2024. Publicis reported $17.18 billion in net revenue in 2025, up 5.6% year-on-year.
