Requirements
  • Between 2 and 15 years of experience across heritage approval processes in Western Australia.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, and Honours or post graduate qualifications in archaeology, cultural heritage management or related field.
  • A current Western Australian driver’s license
Responsibilities
  • Managing heritage advice and approvals processes for a diverse range of projects in Western Australia and nationally
  • Working on projects across the property and buildings, transport, water, energy and resources, and environment market sectors
  • Investigating and reporting on a wide range of heritage matters, including statutory approvals and consultation with Traditional Owners, through field and desktop work
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, internal specialists and sub-consultants, Commonwealth and State Government Departments, Agencies and Local Councils
  • Supporting and contributing to the continued development of our team’s technical skills through mentorship
  • Developing and supporting new business opportunities within the Cultural Heritage sector within Western Australia and nationally
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Experience in a consulting environment strongly preferred, with a natural ability to build positive client relationships and openness to identifying and developing new business.
