Our data engineer/data scientist internship offers a variety of hands-on experience, depending on your area of interest and experience. You will receive hands-on experience using your data engineering and data science skills in a professional setting while learning how to operate in an agile, team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Become intimately familiar with data requirements

  • Manage, clean, and transform data for analysis using various programming languages

  • Work with data engineers to ensure that data is properly managed and secured

  • Work with data scientists on complex, multi-dimensional projects, and learn valuable leadership skills

  • Learn how to effectively work under pressure and as part of a team

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems

  • Communicate insights from data analysis to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Recommended Skills & Experience

• Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other related field

• Experience in any of the following languages: Python, Java, R, Scala, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive

• Ability to think critically and work independently and collaborate with a team

• A wide degree of creativity, openness, and latitude when approaching problems
