- Ability to work in dusty and noisy areas, at heights, in tight and confined spaces, and near moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform the stated lifting, carrying, balancing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, bending, leaning, walking, and climbing activities.
- Create, develop, and train a world-class production and installation team.
- Provide leadership for the production operation to deliver quality products productively and efficiently.
- Recruit, develop, and train a high-performance team.
- Ensure production processes are optimized for each product and that process controls are in place.
- Design, implement, and lead business production processes.
- Oversee the technical and professional development of the production team and function.
- Serve as the principal company production interface with the market and customers.
- Lead continual improvement, corrective action, and customer satisfaction practices.
- Ensure the technical accuracy, quality, and cost effectiveness of the production operation.
- Provide production leadership in problem solving and troubleshooting issues.
- Create a team-oriented working environment that fosters growth and accountability.
- Provide leadership and vision and motivate production staff to achieve excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement across production-related areas of the business.
- Lead value production, design optimization, and constructability efforts in coordination with the production team.
- Lead daily production to ensure assigned tasks are delivered within budget, on schedule, and according to established policies and procedures.
- Be accountable for production team performance and product quality.
- Develop and maintain a zero-injury culture.
- Implement and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Be accountable for the safety and well-being of direct reports and other employees.
- Ensure employees implement and maintain safety and health systems and complete required safety training.
- Post-secondary diploma.
- Experience with ISO, 5S, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Visual Factory Management.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
