Anduril’s Mission Systems Integration (MSI) team is seeking an Integrated Systems Engineering Lead to join our team. The MSI team is responsible for developing end-to-end “mission-ized” autonomous systems at Anduril capable of delivering exceptional warfighter outcomes to our customers across a broad range of domains and concepts of operation.
As Integrated Systems Engineering Lead, you will will be responsible for delivering mission outcomes within Anduril programs through the evaluation, design, testing, and certification of mission specific aerospace systems. The right person for this role will have experience in design and development of manned and/or unmanned aircraft. payload selection, validation and integration. You will begin with mission-level outcomes and drive to solutions through appropriate modeling, domain expertise, and program planning. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead integration activities for new aerospace vehicle development projects
- Oversee systems modeling and system/subsystem integration design.
- Support Development of overall system requirements.
- Develop systems concepts of operations and support evaluation of system performance in relevant scenarios
- Assesses and specify interface protocols and standards
- Coordination with air vehicle and mission system designers to define physical interface requirements, verify design meets those requirements, support fit checks, and initial installation.
- Develop testing, certification, and airworthiness plans, level of effort and cost.
- Assess system supportability
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Design and mission system integration experience developing, designing, testing aerospace systems.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited course of study in Science, Technology, Engineering, and / or Mathematics
- Experience with mission systems integration with manned and unmanned air vehicles
- 3+ years of experience in avionics integration operating through the full engineering lifecycle.
- Experience developing system requirements, verification plans, functional decomposition / allocation, and interfaces.
- Experience with avionics subsystem design and integration (Examples include comm systems, flight control computer, ground station interaction, etc.)
- Highly motivated self-starter, must work well in a team environment
- Experience working with DOD customers
- Must Possess and maintain U.S. TS Security Clearance
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
