Requirements
  • At least 15 years of experience in copywriting, narrative, or multidisciplinary creative leadership.

  • Meaningful industry recognition through Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Clios, or equivalent.
  • A track record of building language and narratives for iconic global brands.
  • Experience building and leading writing teams, not simply reviewing copy.
  • Experience creating writers' rooms or collaborative writing models.
  • Exceptional creative judgment and the ability to explain clearly why writing succeeds or falls short.
  • The ability to move confidently between a headline, a script, a multi-platform response, a product story, and a verbal system.
  • Experience developing brand voice, naming, nomenclature, and narrative frameworks.
  • Experience directing agencies, campaign screenwriters, and specialist collaborators.
  • Deep fluency with AI-enabled writing and creative development workflows.
  • A clear point of view on how AI changes writing practice, authorship, and creative scale.
  • Ability to communicate the value of language and narrative to senior executives.
  • A current understanding of culture, entertainment, technology, media, and creator communities.
  • A track record of building multidisciplinary teams, developing future writing leaders, and maintaining a high standard through speed, ambiguity, and change.
Responsibilities
  • Define and uphold the copywriting and narrative standard across Adobe Creative.
  • Establish a point of view on world-class copywriting in the age of AI.
  • Build shared principles for narrative, scripts, headlines, and platform-native language, partnering with Brand on voice and naming.
  • Ensure Adobe's voice feels connected and recognizably Adobe without becoming corporate, repetitive, or predictable.
  • Build frameworks, tools, and working practices that involve copywriters from the start rather than at the end.
  • Partner with internal teams to document and encode craft into systems that support speed and scale.
  • Lead copywriting and narrative from early creative development through final execution.
  • Shape Adobe's visible global campaigns, product launches, and high-velocity work from Adobe Creative.
  • Partner with the Head of Campaigns to create campaign platforms, headlines, scripts, and integrated language systems.
  • Partner with the Head of Design to develop visual and verbal expressions as one connected creative system.
  • Partner with the Head of Brand to translate Adobe’s verbal identity, naming principles, nomenclature, and tone of voice into distinctive creative expression across Adobe Creative’s work.
  • Ensure ideas can move across channels, formats, and audiences without losing clarity, humanity, or impact.
  • Direct agency copywriters, brand film screenwriters, and specialist collaborators from an internal Adobe point of view.
  • Hold externally produced copywriting commissioned by Adobe Creative to the same standard as internal creative.
  • Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of campaign, brand, and multi-platform copywriters.
  • Build a leadership bench and clear pathways for copywriters to grow into creative direction and leadership roles.
  • Recruit copywriters with diverse perspectives, distinctive voices, and strong creative judgment.
  • Create a culture of direct feedback, high standards, experimentation, generosity, and continuous learning.
  • Keep senior writing leaders close to the work and protect meaningful time for writing.
  • Use flexible copywriters’ rooms within Adobe Creative for major campaigns and priority creative opportunities, bringing in partners from across C&C, Product, and other teams when useful.
  • Build relationships with writers across the organization so language, tools, and creative learning are shared.
  • Define Adobe Creative's point of view on how AI changes writing, editing, authorship, and creative development.
  • Build AI-native workflows that expand creative exploration without reducing writing to generated volume.
  • Establish principles for evaluating AI-assisted writing through originality, accuracy, voice, intention, and cultural intelligence.
  • Define where AI can support scale and where human authorship and creative judgment remain essential.
  • Partner with Product as a creative customer zero, testing emerging language capabilities through real work.
  • Ensure teams understand responsible AI, provenance, creator rights, and Content Credentials.
  • Represent Adobe Creative’s copywriting, voice, and narrative in executive and cross-functional forums.
  • Translate narrative and language decisions into clear, actionable choices.
  • Advocate for Adobe Creative’s writers to be involved earlier in brand, product, and creative development.
  • Connect exceptional copywriting to audience understanding, emotional impact, brand distinction, and business value.

Adobe vs Arista Networks: cheaper Adobe (10x forward P/E) tops Arista (45x) as 2026 buy

Adobe and Arista Networks offer investors opposite bets on AI: software against networking hardware. A Motley Fool analyst favours Adobe for 2026. Adobe's trailing-12-month revenue reached nearly $26 billion, up about 12%, with net income of roughly $7 billion. Arista's revenue was about $10.5 billion, up 33%, with net income near $4 billion. Arista is essentially debt-free but depends on a few large customers and on Broadcom as a supplier. Adobe trades at 10.4x forward earnings, against 44.8x for Arista. The analyst cites Adobe's more than 1 billion monthly active users, up over 20% year over year, as the reason to buy.

Citi's Radke: AI splits software into winners like Microsoft and losers like Adobe

Citi's Tyler Radke says AI is splitting software into winners and losers. Radke, co-head of US software equity research, told Bloomberg Television that AI is lifting growth at Microsoft, Palantir, and Snowflake. He expects Microsoft's revenue growth to top 20%, up from 18% in the quarter ended June 30. Office costs under $100 a month and bundles security and Copilot, while rivals charge hundreds of dollars, leaving room to raise prices. Adobe and smaller application vendors face pressure as IT budgets shift to AI, he said. Salesforce agreed to buy Braze for $47.50 per share in cash. Radke questions whether Salesforce can speed up organic growth after half a dozen large deals. If financing stays costly, he expects scale to decide who survives.

Trellist launches AI transformation practice for Adobe Experience Cloud teams

Trellist, a marketing and technology services firm, has made its AI Transformation practice available to Adobe Experience Cloud teams. The practice helps teams using Adobe Experience Manager, Target, and Analytics adopt AI-first infrastructure: connected systems, fewer handoffs, and AI agents that carry work between steps. Trellist starts by mapping a campaign's handoffs, from brief to analysis, and finding where AI can shorten, reorder, or remove them. The aim is faster time to market. The firm cites more than a decade of Adobe experience, including 250 personalization activities delivered for one client in a year. Elsewhere, it reports a 90% cut in lead handling time for a B2B manufacturer and a 30% drop in customer service calls for a logistics operator. Engagements start with one high-friction process and expand from there.

Adobe shifts to narrower AI metric: AI-first products are just over 2% of $27.5B recurring revenue

Adobe now highlights a narrower AI measure: revenue from products sold as "AI-first." A year ago, it stressed how much subscription revenue was AI-influenced, a figure that exceeded $5 billion in fiscal Q3 2025. AI-first recurring revenue made up just over 2% of Adobe's $27.5 billion total recurring revenue in fiscal Q3 2026. It grew more than 150% from a year earlier, against 11.2% for total recurring revenue. Monthly users of Adobe's free creative products passed 100 million, up more than 70%. Contracted future revenue grew 8%. On October 12, Wells Fargo downgraded the stock, citing worsening organic growth, executive instability, and lost pricing power. Adobe trades at 12.9 times earnings, against 21.9 for the S&P 500.
