About the company

ASSA ABLOY provides access solutions including mechanical locks and electronic security systems to secure doors, buildings, and identities. ASSA ABLOY looks undervalued on cash flow after 67% three-year run, with $2B free cash flow

ASSA ABLOY shares have returned 66.6% over three years, yet a discounted cash flow (DCF) model suggests the stock is still undervalued. The shares trade at SEK359.50, well below the DCF estimate, and at a price-to-earnings ratio of 24.4x. The group produced free cash flow of about SEK21.2b over the past twelve months. Analysts expect it to keep rising into the early 2030s before growth slows. The planned sale of HID's Public Key Infrastructure unit to Vista Equity Partners may change the group's cash flow mix after 2026. That may explain why investors are cautious. Bulls see the stock 12% undervalued, citing record EBIT margins of around 17%. Bears see it 6% overvalued, pointing to margin dilution from the Level Lock acquisition.
