Requirements
  • A Master’s Degree in MSN, MBA, MHA, or another related field.
  • Five years of progressive clinical or healthcare experience with demonstrated experience leading teams, committees, implementations, or other special projects.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and lead teams to successful completion.
  • Ability to focus on details, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently apply standards with flexibility for various department functions.
  • Knowledge and ability to extract key data elements from data systems and use software programs including Microsoft Office and Visio.
  • Epic certification through Epic Systems upon hire.
Responsibilities
  • Lead workflow design discussions and facilitate the building, testing, and implementation of new system applications and modules.
  • Coach and mentor Clinical Informaticists to achieve workflow standardization and design across the organization.
  • Regularly evaluate the current state of applications and workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend or lead changes.
  • Build relationships to solve healthcare clinical and business problems and provide analytical solutions to complex issues.
  • Leverage analytics and electronic health record usage data, including NEAT, Signal, and Epic Pulse, to identify improvement opportunities, drive targeted education, and inform data-driven technology and workflow enhancements.
  • Lead large-scale optimization of clinical workflows and documentation to reduce burden, standardize best practices, and enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Oversee integration and interoperability of nursing technologies, including mobile devices, physiological monitors, and telemetry, ensuring seamless data flow and reliable system performance.
