  • Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as a specialist.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and coordination of community-based, secondary, and tertiary health care.
  • Operate within the bylaws and rules and regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
  • Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
  • Work a full scope of practice as an anesthesiologist for patients in the Northern Zone, including general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and ear, nose, and throat services.
  • Participate in evening and weekend on-call coverage.
