Experience in construction, civil engineering, construction engineering, or surveying.
Ability to interpret civil engineering plans and specifications with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate plan and specification requirements to contractors and communicate effectively with project team members.
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel, and Adobe or Bluebeam software.
Ability to physically maneuver around construction sites, including stabilized excavations and trenches, structures, and other disturbed areas.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Availability to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.
Dependable personal vehicle for accessing project sites.
Valid driver's license with at least the state-required liability insurance and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities

The Omaha, NE office is seeking a qualified, organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and observant individual to serve as a Seasonal Construction Observer. This opportunity is for an energetic field representative familiar with public infrastructure projects. The position is responsible for accurate monitoring and documenting of construction projects. The Construction Observer assures that the project has been constructed in accordance with project plans and specifications.
A successful candidate will possess:
