About the role:
Vistar Media has created a 9-week program where students will gain hands-on working experience and knowledge about the advertising technology landscape, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with different departments within Vistar’s organization. We’re looking for college students who are passionate and eager about the innovative media industry.
Our IT team goes beyond safeguarding the business; we innovate for seamless tech experiences. We architect solutions that empower users and adapt to our evolving needs.
We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced IT environment. The IT Intern will work closely with our IT team to support various technical initiatives and provide assistance to end-users.
Our summer interns will work 3 days per week for the duration of the internship program and will be expected to be in the office. Applications are due by April 5th.
What you’ll do:
- Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation for IT systems and processes
- Aid in IT asset management, including inventory tracking and maintenance
- Provide support for audiovisual (AV) systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Assist in managing and working ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues
- Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues, escalating as needed
Who you are:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Able to work in the US for an indefinite period without sponsorship
- Able to come to the NYC office three days a week (relocation not offered)
