Requirements
  • A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • An active New Jersey counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family license, including LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or PhD credentials as applicable.
  • Prior experience in youth development or engagement and/or serving underserved, multicultural, and multilingual populations.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy and treatment modalities.
  • A commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusivity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to complete independent tasks while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining working relationships, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Successful completion of state and federal criminal background checks via fingerprinting.
  • Ability to use an Electronic Health Record system.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct client intake, assessment, and individualized treatment planning.
  • Provide weekly individual, group, and/or family counseling sessions.
  • Provide advocacy, discharge planning, and transition support.
  • Deliver services in-office and/or virtually according to client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical services.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with clients' and families' wraparound or interdisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, psychiatrists, schools, and care managers.
  • Respond to client, family, and stakeholder requests and communications in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bilingual ability with excellent written and verbal abilities in multiple languages.
  • Experience serving individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder.
