  • Knowledge of human resources practices, policies, and regulations.
  • Intermediate computer and software skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily workflow and operations of the human resources department.
  • Plan, organize, and control HR department activities and administer human resources plans and procedures.
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other offerings.
  • Maintain all personnel files.
  • Assist with organizational development and coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and other required training.
  • Provide support and guidance to management and staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive HR questions and issues.
  • Administer and execute routine tasks involving reasonable accommodations, investigations of alleged wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including developing job descriptions, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for open positions.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends and research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs.
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and review policies and practices for compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Travel as needed to build relationships with teams and outside stakeholders.
