  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • A Professional Engineer license is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering design is required.
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications is required.
  • Progressive experience in planning, design, and permitting of civil site development and drainage improvement projects is required.
  • A strong understanding of stormwater hydraulics and hydrology is required.
  • Experience preparing grading plans, drainage reports, and construction documents is required.
  • The ability to write technical specifications and bid documents is required.
  • The ability to interact with clients through strong written and verbal communication is required.
  • The ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workflow is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines are required.
  • A client service-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform civil site design for land development projects, including water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, grading plans, drainage reports, and construction documents.
  • Lead permitting efforts and coordinate with local and state regulatory agencies.
  • Develop technical specifications and bid documents for construction projects.
  • Manage and execute project tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery.
  • Perform construction administration activities, including site visits and coordination with contractors.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to model and refine designs.
