- 10+ years of combined management and professional experience in machine learning, research, and software engineering, and a proven record in running an applied research organization with product impacts
- Strong organizational skills and experience working with large cross-functional and diverse teams
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning
- Strong in computer science fundamentals, software engineering principles and development methodologies
- Experience with incubation, development and deployment of machine learning technologies into products
- Ability to take ambiguous ideas from inception to deployment
- Experience with setting and executing innovation strategies at both technical and organizational levels to drive research directions and business objectives.
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
