Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field.
  • 7+ years of product experience in the tech industry related to mobile application software development, project management. Must have a product and technology background.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute on product plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Specify what the product should do, the roadmap for where it will go over time, the investment required to get there, and the expected outcomes that align to company goals (plan, organize, execute).
  • Develop business plan in partnership with finance to confirm the market opportunity and expected financial performance (Framework for Product P&L).
  • Prioritize features and requirements based on customer feedback, market research, and business goals.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify opportunities, assess competition, and understand customer behavior.
  • Use data and insights to inform product decisions and validate the product direction.
  • Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, continuous improvement, and sunsetting.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define detailed product requirements and prioritize development efforts.
  • Be the voice of the customer by collecting and analyzing feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that the product meets user needs and enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with customer support to create required knowledge base, take in customer request and complaints, and fix problems.
  • Work with marketing to create the product messaging and explain why customers will care about the product.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for new product launches or updates.
  • Work with PR to address public perceptions and act as a spokesperson and subject matter expert.
  • Continuously monitor product performance, using KPIs such as revenue, user engagement, customer satisfaction, and retention rates.
  • Use insights to drive product improvements and inform future development cycles.
  • Communicate product progress, challenges, and future plans with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Present updates to leadership and adapt product direction based on feedback.
  • Manage product development budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and cost constraints.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure product profitability and alignment with company goals.
