Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth, transformation, or global capability center environment.
  • Experience in India, preferably in a global capability center, shared services, or technology hub.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian employment law and market practices.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed, international organization; financial services experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the global capability center head and leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Translate business strategy into clear, actionable people plans.
  • Provide insight and constructive challenge on structure, capability, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Support delivery of global capability center growth, cost, productivity, and service-quality objectives.
  • Lead and support change-management and transformation initiatives.
  • Support rapid hiring and onboarding at scale, focusing on quality, diversity, and retention.
  • Shape organizational structures, including spans, layers, and reporting lines, as the global capability center evolves.
  • Embed scalable and efficient human-resources processes aligned to global standards.
  • Establish an employee value proposition aligned to the India market.
  • Drive workforce planning to support growth and operational stability.
  • Lead talent-management practices, including succession planning, talent reviews, and pipeline development.
  • Identify key talent risks and build mitigation plans.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, engagement, and team effectiveness.
  • Build leadership capability through targeted development initiatives.
  • Support performance, promotion, and reward decisions with rigor and fairness.
  • Embed an inclusive culture aligned to global firm values.
  • Drive engagement initiatives and monitor attrition, acting proactively on insights.

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive employee issues.

  • Support compensation benchmarking using India market data.
  • Advise leaders on competitive and equitable reward decisions.

  • Diagnose organizational issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Lead initiatives across organizational design, team effectiveness, and capability building.

  • Manage human-resources projects with clear goals, governance, and risk mitigation.
  • Act as the key interface between the India global capability center and global human resources across the United Kingdom, United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and other regions.
  • Ensure alignment with global standards while adapting to local market requirements.
  • Build partnerships across business leaders, human-resources centers of excellence, and external advisors.
  • Operate effectively within a matrixed, international environment.
  • Provide human-resources support for global capability center build-out, including hiring, onboarding, and organizational structure.
  • Establish an organization-design and governance framework.
  • Support and stabilize the leadership team.
  • Manage attrition and engagement within target benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and human-resources requirements.

U.S. Bancorp posts record $7.7B revenue, raises 2026 outlook to 7-9% growth on BTIG strength

U.S. Bancorp reported strong second-quarter 2026 results, with earnings per share of $1.35, up approximately 22% year-over-year, and record net revenue of $7.7 billion. Return on tangible common equity reached 18.7%, whilst the efficiency ratio improved to 57.1%. Fee income rose 13.2% year-over-year, driven by the recently completed BTIG acquisition. BTIG generated approximately $98 million in revenue during its first month, the strongest monthly performance in its history. The company expects BTIG to contribute roughly $200 million per quarter in the second half of 2026. Average loans totalled $405 billion, up 7.1% year-over-year. Net interest income increased 7.5% to $4.4 billion. The bank raised its 2026 revenue outlook to 7% to 9% growth, up from the previous 4% to 6% range.
