Requirements
  • Experience working as a carpenter on concrete teams.
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine dimensions.
  • Ability to shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
  • Experience building or repairing formwork for footings, walls, and columns.
  • Experience with Peri BeamDeck Systems.
  • Ability to verify the trueness of structures using carpentry tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Ability to work on construction projects in standard and high-risk areas.
  • Physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions of the job, including standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands to handle tools or controls.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Required vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
