McKesson affirms $0.94 quarterly dividend ahead of November earnings

McKesson's board has affirmed a regular quarterly dividend of $0.94 per share, payable on January 4, 2027, to shareholders of record on December 1, 2026. The move comes ahead of the company's earnings report on November 4. Investors will watch whether cash flow can support both dividends and reinvestment in oncology and technology platforms such as CoverMyMeds and RxTS. Key risks include drug pricing scrutiny, costs tied to the recent cyber incident, and weaker GLP-1 access volumes. Analyst assumptions project revenue of $500.5 billion and earnings of $6.4 billion by 2029, based on 6.8% yearly revenue growth. Earnings today stand at $4.6 billion.

McKesson wins Vizient's 2026 Distribution Excellence Award. Vizient's 2026 Distribution Excellence Award honors suppliers that consistently deliver exceptional service and value to Vizient member health systems. September 29, 2026 In September 2026, Vizient presented McKesson with the 2026 Distribution Excellence Award at the Vizient Connections Summit in Las Vegas. The award recognizes suppliers that demonstrate superior service, support, reliability, ethics, and integrity in collaboration with Vizient.[1] Vizient, a member-owned healthcare performance improvement company, works with thousands of not-for-profit health systems and affiliates. Through its network, Vizient connects healthcare leaders with data, insights, and supplier relationships designed to drive value across the enterprise. For McKesson, the recognition reflects years of building a strategic, enterprise-wide relationship with Vizient and its member organizations at a time when health systems increasingly rely on collaborative partnerships to navigate complexity across pharmacy, supply chain, and clinical operations. Ali Cobb, Vice President of Health Systems National Accounts for McKesson Health Systems, has been central to strengthening collaboration and identifying new ways to support member needs. As workforce pressures, financial constraints, and supply chain challenges continue to shape healthcare, strong strategic partnerships remain critical to helping health systems build resilience and advance patient health. This award reflects a shared commitment by Vizient and McKesson to help health systems meet today's demands while preparing for what's next, together.
