Requirements
  • A graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 6 to 8 years of professional experience in the cybersecurity field.
  • Demonstrable understanding of technology and security principles and deep knowledge of the cyber threat landscape.
  • Good understanding of IT architectures, networks, common business applications, software-as-a-service services, and data storage.
  • Understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, virtual private networks, and secure network architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud security, endpoint security, and network security best practices.
  • Good understanding of United Kingdom and European cybersecurity regulations and standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation, Network and Information Systems Directive, European Union Cybersecurity Act, European Union Agency for Cybersecurity guidelines, and Digital Operational Resilience Act for financial institutions.
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity compliance standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Center for Internet Security Controls.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and experience ideally gained in the management-consulting sector, although experience in other sectors may be relevant.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects from inception to completion with high-quality delivery in a complex and challenging environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment when prioritizing competing work assignments, escalating issues, and formulating solutions.
  • Effective organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality documentation and implement or influence change.
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate technical matters to a non-technical audience.
Responsibilities
  • Support business development for the Cyber Risk Consulting United Kingdom region.
  • Support the design and delivery of multiple Cyber Risk Consulting projects through timely completion as required.
  • Collaborate across the global and regional Marsh community and provide expert input and contributions where necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Marsh cyber brokerage colleagues, global cyber teams, and business partners.
  • Review and develop cyber strategies and products, manage consulting projects, advise stakeholders, lead workshops, and support business development and marketing.
  • Travel as required for direct client work.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
  • Experience and skills in incident response.
  • Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration-testing techniques and tools.
