Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, human resources management, organizational psychology, or a similar field is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of external consulting experience delivering human resources transformation projects for mid-to-large organizations is required.
  • At least 10 years of program management experience on large-scale, multi-stream projects is required.
  • Deep human resources domain expertise is required.
  • Strong content knowledge in at least three of artificial intelligence enablement, human resources strategy, human resources technology, organizational effectiveness, human resources operating models, process redesign, and employee experience is required.
  • Broad understanding across the employee lifecycle and human resources functions, including recruiting, talent, rewards, performance, and learning, is required.
  • Hands-on experience with core human resources information systems such as Workday or SuccessFactors and best-of-breed human resources technologies is required.
  • Experience with shared services platforms for case, knowledge, or document management, such as ServiceNow, is required.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing digital automation, robotic process automation, conversational artificial intelligence or chatbots, and analytics or machine learning solutions in human resources contexts is required.
  • Practical knowledge of generative artificial intelligence and large language models, including use-case identification, prompt design, vendor assessment, data requirements, model validation, and safe deployment practices, is required.
  • A proven track record in business development, financial scoping, proposal writing, and presenting to executive stakeholders is required.
  • Ability to design comprehensive solutions combining human resources strategy, technology, and artificial intelligence to solve complex client problems is required.
  • Strong collaboration, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop business and client relationships and generate revenue through new client development and expansion of relationships with mid-to-large organizations.
  • Lead client conversations about how artificial intelligence and automation can unlock value for human resources, the workforce, and business outcomes.
  • Create solution proposals that combine human resources strategy, technology, and artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities; negotiate scope and execute contracts.
  • Demonstrate and market expertise in human resources transformation and artificial intelligence enablement.
  • Serve as a local market representative for Mercer in human resources transformation.
  • Bring together human resources strategy, operating model design, digital employee experience, process redesign, technology enablement, and organizational adoption to drive conversations around the future of an artificial-intelligence-native human resources function.
  • Deliver client engagements end-to-end and lead the delivery team for human resources transformation engagements.
  • Own the quality and value of project deliverables and manage project economics to ensure delivery within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Mentor junior consultants in modern human resources practices, analytics, and artificial intelligence adoption and provide project guidance.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, methodology development, and go-to-market collateral integrating artificial-intelligence-driven human resources transformation.
  • Collaborate across Career, Mercer, and Marsh to leverage firm-wide capabilities and promote integrated solutions.

  • An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven sales results and experience closing artificial-intelligence-enabled transformation deals are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities into pragmatic human resources outcomes is preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise with a proven track record in a consulting role is preferred.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, cultivate, and engage junior resources at all levels is preferred.
