Responsibilities
  • Manage the business managers assigned to the Canary Islands zone, ensuring profitable business growth.
  • Execute the Sales and Distribution Plan in the zone by using available commercial levers and successfully implementing agreed strategic initiatives.
  • Develop value propositions based on identifying new business opportunities.
  • Recruit and develop intermediaries, focusing on meeting assigned business objectives.
  • Provide an integrated business perspective by identifying development opportunities and monitoring new market needs and competitors in the zone.
  • Promote ideas to strengthen business development, energize and motivate the intermediary network, and execute initiatives to achieve established objectives.
  • Lead and inspire the assigned commercial team by setting organizational objectives and continuously monitoring progress toward their achievement.

Zurich launches LifeVault platform. Organising wills and documents. Provider, Zurich, has launched a digital platform, LifeVault, for customers to organise wills, important documents, personal wishes and memories in one place. Zurich said the platform is designed to extend support beyond the traditional life insurance pay out. According to the provider's survey of 2,000 UK adults, managing probate or estate administration falls to 42% of people facing the death of a loved one. The provider found that 60% of people responsible for probate found it difficult, which increased to 83% of millennials. While 79% of adults had worries about how their loved ones will cope after they pass, Zurich said 48% of the adult population (48%) have a valid will.
