About the job
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- At least one year of experience in production, warehouse, or a related supply chain function is required.
- Operate production equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow company safety procedures, OSHA standards, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor package quality throughout production.
- Pack units at the end of the production line and palletize boxes.
- Monitor production speeds and report machine deficiencies to a mechanic or supervisor.
- Ensure an adequate supply of materials at the machine.
- Monitor rejects during the shift and compile and record all rejects at the end of the shift.
- Complete the machine chart to reflect shift production.
- Clean the machine at the end of the shift and as needed during the shift.
- Understand FDA regulations applicable to the operations and the consequences of nonconformance.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work environment.
- Ensure timely completion of work.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, data analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper personal protective equipment and safety procedures are followed.
