Requirements
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with a broad range of AWS services and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience with AWS networking and security services, including IAM, KMS, Route 53, load balancers, Shield, WAF, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and practices, DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, governance, monitoring, and operational best practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical teams and communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, IT systems administration, network operations, software development or support, consulting, architecture, or related technology disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of experience writing production-grade code.
  • At least 3 years of experience automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering secure AWS cloud solutions within a multi-account environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub, including GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
  • Experience creating and managing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments.
  • AWS certification and/or Azure certification.
Responsibilities
  • Design, manage, administer, and automate enterprise cloud infrastructure services and solutions.
  • Engineer cloud solutions for new and migrated applications, aligning them with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support software delivery and infrastructure deployment.
  • Create and manage golden AMIs, patch management solutions, and infrastructure monitoring capabilities.
  • Review cloud security controls and recommend improvements to enhance security posture and compliance.
  • Partner with technology teams to support cloud transformation initiatives and adoption of Infrastructure as Code.
  • Ensure cloud environments have appropriate governance, controls, auditing, and compliance mechanisms.
  • Define and implement operational capabilities to proactively monitor, manage, and optimize production environments.
  • Identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement to maintain highly available, fault-tolerant systems.

Momentum Financial Services upsizes loan facility to $589M with Ares for US, Canada expansion

Momentum Financial Services Group has renewed and expanded its secured loan facility with Ares Alternative Credit funds. The facility has been increased from C$657.9 million to C$810 million, with an accordion feature providing up to an additional C$130 million. The agreement extends through January 2029. The expanded facility will support Momentum's growing loan receivables portfolio in Canada and fund new products expected to launch in both Canada and the United States.
