Requirements
  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Front-end development experience e.g. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries e.g. React.js, Three.js, Next.js
  • Backend development experience in a modern development language such as Ruby, Java, or similar
  • A portfolio of work that displays responsive web examples, iconography, typography, color, imagery, and motion
  • An understanding of web standards, browser performance, SEO optimization, and basic UX/UI principles
  • A history of collaboration with non-technical team members
  • Skills to work on complex problems with any audience in verbal, visual, or written formats
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Responsibilities
  • Work with design and marketing peers to brainstorm creative solutions to achieve team goals and strategy.
  • Participate in concept development to create best in class web experiences that make customers say “wow.”
  • Contribute to systems and standards for our marketing platforms across all product lines within Proto (ie: our web CMS, email marketing platforms etc..).
  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams to ship remarkable solutions on a fast paced team that operates like a startup within a larger company.
  • Develop ideation prototypes to create custom content experiences (e.g., infographics, interactive tools, and more) and quickly demonstrate what an idea looks and feels like in real life
  • Work creatively through and around perceived limitations and challenges imposed by the delivery platform to create delightful experiences for customers
  • Evaluate and document any creative or engineering standards or patterns that could arise from your work
