People Advisory Services Consultant - Tax Payroll

The opportunity

Our People Advisory Services (PAS) department needs reinforcement and is looking for a motivated, flexible person for the Client Payroll team as a consultant (part-time positions and returnees are welcome).

Your key responsibilities

• Support national and international clients in payroll and HR administration
• Manage payroll accounting, including communication with clients, tax authorities, and social security institutions
• Collaborate with our nearshore and offshore teams to ensure timely completion of monthly payroll processes
• Contribute to business development activities, including client acquisition and local networking
• Work on exciting internal and external projects from day one, gaining in-depth insights into a broad range of technical topics, industries, and business functions

Skills and attributes for success

• Successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, with a strong interest in payroll
• One to two years of practical experience in payroll and social security/employment tax 
• Proficient in English and German; French and/or Italian language skills are an asset 
• Solid knowledge of and hands-on experience with MS Office; familiarity with ABACUS and/or SAP is a plus 
• Strong sense of independence and resilience, combined with an entrepreneurial and client-focused mindset 
• Eager to learn and open to developing new skills and expertise 
• Demonstrates an agile, growth-oriented mindset, valuing both knowledge and attitude as key drivers of success 
• Innovative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment 
• Affinity for digital tools and emerging technologies (including AI), with a willingness to leverage them to enhance efficiency and service quality 
• Naturally curious and purpose-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop improved solutions through insightful questioning
