Apprentice I requires 0–2,000 apprenticeship hours; a basic understanding of electrical concepts is a plus but not required.
Apprentice II requires 2,001–4,000 apprenticeship hours and a developing understanding of electrical systems and wiring principles.
Apprentice III requires 4,001–6,000 apprenticeship hours and an understanding of electrical systems and wiring principles.
Apprentice IV requires 6,001–8,000 apprenticeship hours and a solid understanding of electrical systems and wiring principles.
Applicants must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Applicants must be able to work on their feet for prolonged periods while using tools and perform repetitive actions involving frequent bending and stooping.
Responsibilities
Assist experienced electricians with installing and connecting electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and carrying out repairs and maintenance as directed by senior team members.
Learn to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to contribute to project execution.
Learn and follow local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance during electrical work.
Learn to safely handle and use electrical tools and equipment under the guidance of experienced personnel.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
Develop troubleshooting skills by learning how to identify and resolve electrical issues.
Participate in electrical testing, inspections, and quality-control procedures to verify the integrity and functionality of installed systems.
Communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients to support smooth project execution.

What you'll do
