About the company

AlphaSense builds market intelligence software for investment professionals and corporate teams researching companies, competitors, and business trends. Its platform brings company filings, earnings calls, industry news, and expert interviews into a searchable library, so analysts work across sources rather than opening each document separately. AI tools interpret research questions, summarize findings, and link answers to the underlying material for review. Organizations also connect their internal research to the platform and pay subscription fees for access to its software and content. AlphaSense expands enterprise AI Security and governance as businesses demand verifiable, trustworthy AI.

AlphaSense expands enterprise AI Security and governance as businesses demand verifiable, trustworthy AI. New enhancements in infrastructure, product safeguards, and compliance reinforce AlphaSense's longstanding security-first approach to enterprise AI. October 07, 2026 11:00 ET | Source: AlphaSense Key Facts (At-a-Glance): Update: AlphaSense today announced an expanded enterprise AI security and governance program, reinforcing the infrastructure, product safeguards, and compliance practices that underpin its platform. This includes security controls within SuperAnalyst, AlphaSense's always-on AI agent for all customers. Capabilities: The expanded program spans hardened infrastructure, automated edge protection against bot and abuse traffic, AI-driven security guardrails embedded directly into AlphaSense's engineering pipeline, deliberate content curation and zero data retention within SuperAnalyst, and industry-leading compliance certifications including SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001. Why It Matters: Security and reliability remain the top two cited barriers to enterprise AI adoption, and recent AlphaSense research confirms enterprise buyers rank data privacy and security as their second-highest priority in evaluating AI tools, behind only accuracy. AlphaSense AI security and governance is built on the premise that trust, not raw model capability, is the foremost factor in enterprise AI adoption. NEW YORK, Oct. 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - AlphaSense, the AI platform redefining market intelligence for the business and financial world, today outlined an expanded enterprise AI security and governance program, reinforcing the infrastructure, product design, and compliance practices that underpin its platform, including SuperAnalyst, its always-on AI agent. The Market Problem: Trust Hasn't Kept Pace With AI Investment Security and reliability remain the top two barriers businesses cite to scaling agentic AI in the enterprise. According to IBM and the Ponemon Institute, 85% of organizations are increasing security investment specifically because of what frontier AI models are now capable of - outpacing the 64% who increased investment only after an actual breach, signaling that security spending in the AI era is proactive rather than reactive. Additionally, an AlphaSense survey of 1,028 leaders and AI decision-makers across financial services, corporate, and consulting functions in 11 countries found that data privacy and security is the second-most important feature enterprise buyers want from AI tools, trailing only accuracy. As general-purpose LLMs commoditize raw model capability, trustworthiness and data quality are the key differentiators for enterprise AI. AlphaSense Approach: Security as Architecture In The Forrester Wave(TM): Market and Competitive Intelligence Platforms, Q3 2026, AlphaSense received the highest score possible in the security evaluation criterion. AlphaSense's leading security and governance program is directly informed by the company's internal AI usage, applying the same standards to its own tools and workflows that it builds into the platform. Core pillars of this program include: * Hardened Infrastructure: AlphaSense's platform is built on enterprise-grade identity and access management, including SAML 2.0 single sign-on and SCIM-based user lifecycle management. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit, with support for customer-managed encryption keys. * Edge Protection: This year, AlphaSense introduced automated bot and abuse protection across its production platform. Every request at the edge is validated before it reaches the application. The system processes millions of legitimate customer requests weekly while blocking automated abuse and intrusion attempts at roughly 1% of total traffic, with fewer than 1% of users ever encountering a verification challenge. More than eight in 10 blocked events are automated bot activity or identity spoofing. * AI-Driven Guardrails: AlphaSense embeds AI-driven security guardrails directly into its engineering pipeline, automatically remediating findings and vulnerabilities to drive down escaped defects. Every new feature is risk-tiered at ideation and carried through a gated security assessment, including AI-assisted threat modeling, penetration testing, and code review scaled to risk. Automated assessment begins within 24 hours of a feature's conception. * Data Veracity: SuperAnalyst, AlphaSense's always-on AI agent now available to all customers, is designed to prevent three specific failure modes common to enterprise AI: 1) data cross-contamination, 2) answers that are technically correct but missing critical context, and 3) "silent failures," where an incorrect answer looks right and gives no warning. AlphaSense addresses this through deliberate content curation and quality gating, incorporating vetted sources only. AlphaSense does this while maintaining zero training and zero data retention across every model and tool, internally and externally, to protect customer data. * Built for Compliance: AlphaSense holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications, and aligns its privacy practices with GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. "As a native AI platform founded over a decade ago, AlphaSense has always prioritized security and governance in its foundation," said Pieter VanIperen, Chief Security and Information Officer at AlphaSense. "Today, we are pushing the edge on AI guardrails and data veracity to match the pace of innovation - hardening our engineering pipelines, building agentic security workflows, and governing the domain-specific data and content our customers depend on. Our commitment remains the same: businesses should be able to adopt the latest AI innovations without needing to compromise on security or trust." Why This Matters Now AlphaSense believes trustworthiness and data quality, not the underlying model, are what will differentiate enterprise AI going forward. Data is also becoming more interconnected as AI usage grows, operating with less direct human intervention at each step. The case for governed, verifiable systems is more urgent as AI workflows inform increasingly critical business decisions. AlphaSense's new Channel Check Intelligence enables investors to spot market-moving signals ahead of earnings.

AlphaSense's new Channel Check Intelligence enables investors to spot market-moving signals ahead of earnings. New capability continuously monitors AlphaSense's market-leading Channel Check transcript library and synthesizes what the channel is saying about a company in an investor's coverage universe - every claim traceable to the expert who said it - replacing hours of manual transcript reading with a rapid top-down view. October 06, 2026 11:00 ET | Source: AlphaSense Key Facts (At-a-Glance): Launch: AlphaSense is introducing Channel Check Intelligence, turning the market's most expansive channel check library into a synthesized read on every covered name. Channel Check Intelligence pairs every claim with the business performance metrics behind it, traceable to the expert who said it. Instead of reading transcripts one by one, public-markets investors get a trusted, auditable read across 750+ tickers and on every company they cover ahead of earnings. Capability: With Channel Check Intelligence, investors get a verdict-first channel read on any covered company at a glance, source-tagged by expert type and date, with a direct link through to the full transcript behind every claim. Reads refresh daily and include KPI aggregates presented as means, medians and ranges, and signals surface changed reads, contrarian calls, and inflections between earnings cycles. Why It Matters: Identifying signals about a company's demand, pricing power, customer behavior, and competitive positioning has always meant reading transcripts one by one. Channel Check Intelligence collapses that extraction cost and effort. As the channel moves, the read updates daily, so investors spot a shift before it reaches public disclosures. NEW YORK, Oct. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - AlphaSense, the AI platform redefining market intelligence for the business and financial world, today announced Channel Check Intelligence, a new, first-of-its-kind analytical dashboard powered by the AlphaSense Channel Check library. The workflow monitors and synthesizes new signals from channels, with business operators giving public-markets investors a continuous, trusted, and auditable read on every company they cover. Investment teams differentiate themselves in two ways. First, the quality and volume of information they can access. Second, how well and how quickly they translate that information into actionable insight. That is exactly where a trusted, auditable channel read matters most: investors want synthesis they can verify and defend. "Channel Check Intelligence is the difference between accessing a research library and putting it to work every day with trusted, decision-grade AI. Channel checks are one of the best sources of edge in the market, but for most investors, that has meant hours of reading transcripts one by one to tease out critical signals before they show up in earnings," said Ryan Brier, SVP, AlphaSense Expert Insights. "Channel Check Intelligence changes that by turning expert conversations on a company into a single, verdict-first read in under a minute. This gives buyside investors a significant, real-time pulse during high-stakes decisions, helping them uncover risks, identify emerging upside opportunities, and understand changing market dynamics." Key Capabilities * Verdict-first channel read: A synthesized view of what the channel is saying about a company, quarter-over-quarter, delivered instantly. Each read opens with the takeaway, then lets investors drill into the quantitative and qualitative evidence behind it. * End-to-end auditability: Every finding is source-tagged by expert type and date, with a direct link through to the full source transcript. This is what enables an investor to act on a read, or defend it to a client or committee. * Analytical depth: Each company's auditable summary breaks down into demand, supply, pricing, and competition, and traces any claim to the expert's citation. * Monitoring and signals: Reads refresh daily and signals surface changed reads, contrarian calls, and inflections between earnings cycles - offering continuous coverage versus quarterly manual reviews. * Full library at launch: Channel Check Intelligence is layered over the AlphaSense Channel Check library from the start, with 750+ tickers covered to date and continuously growing. "At Panoramic Hills Capital, we're always looking for ways to more efficiently synthesize a large volume of channel-check information and identify changes in expert views over time," said Wanyi Yang, Co-Founder, Panoramic Hills Capital. "What excites me about AlphaSense Channel Checks is the potential to organize expert perspectives systematically and track how those views evolve. As the product becomes more customizable around the specific questions our analysts care about, I think it could become a very useful part of our research workflow." Channel Checks as a Monitored Universe Channel check research gauges a company's performance by gathering on-the-ground, third-party information from the company's suppliers, distributors, and customers before this information shows up in public disclosures or official financials. Channel checks were once a luxury input only the largest funds could afford to commission, consisting of teams of analysts calling experts manually to catch inflection points before they show up in earnings. AlphaSense brought that same capability to the broader market, and Channel Check Intelligence is what turns it into an always-on view of an investor's entire coverage universe. Channel Check Intelligence is layered over the industry's deepest channel check library: thousands of live expert conversations conducted every month across more than 100 industries, drawing on a consistent set of questions call after call, so a shift in tone or trajectory reads as a comparable signal rather than a one-off anecdote. The library is already core to how 80% of the top hedge funds conduct research in AlphaSense, but until now, access to the library was just the starting point. Channel Check Intelligence synthesizes the interviews into a traceable read on every covered name and keeps it current as the channel moves, so the research investors already pay for works for them continuously, not only at quarter-end. Every claim traces back to the expert who said it, giving investors a read they can act on and defend. Channel Check Intelligence complements SuperAnalyst, AlphaSense's always-on AI execution layer for decision-grade intelligence, which extends the platform's intelligence into workflow execution across every research vertical. Where SuperAnalyst automates the path from research to output, Channel Check Intelligence supplies a continuously monitored, source-traceable read on the primary research behind those decisions, putting the same evidence-backed standard to work across every workflow where decisions are made. About AlphaSense AlphaSense is the AI platform redefining market intelligence and workflow orchestration, trusted by thousands of leading organizations to drive faster, more confident decisions in business and finance. The platform combines domain-specific AI with a vast content universe of over 500 million premium business documents - including equity research, earnings calls, expert interviews, filings, news, and internal proprietary content. Bipsync and AlphaSense integrate to merge institutional knowledge with AI market intelligence

Bipsync and AlphaSense have announced a strategic integration connecting AlphaSense's AI market intelligence capabilities with investment workflows in Bipsync. The integration allows investment teams to query their institutional knowledge from Bipsync directly within AlphaSense's platform. AlphaSense serves over 7,000 companies, including leading investment banks, providing access to 500 million business documents. Bipsync functions as a system-of-record where institutional knowledge is captured and structured. The integration enables analysts to combine firm-specific context from Bipsync — including meeting notes, deal records, and diligence materials — with external market intelligence within AlphaSense. Source attribution and permissions are preserved throughout the workflow. "Firms get the best of both: their own IP accessible where it matters most, within the workflows where decisions are being made," said Graeme Faulds, Bipsync chief executive officer. The integration is available to mutual clients of both platforms.
