Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire life cycle of electrical projects, from conception and scope definition to commissioning, closure, and documentation.
  • Prepare technical specifications, electrical plans, single-line diagrams using EPLAN, and other engineering documents required for projects.
  • Perform electrical calculations, including loads, conductor sizing, and protections, to ensure the proper functioning and safety of installations.
  • Design medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems, including selecting equipment such as transformers, switches, and protections.
  • Design automation and control systems using PCC.
  • Directly supervise electrical installation work carried out by external contractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, deadlines, budget, and safety regulations.
  • Test and commission electrical installations, verify their correct operation, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work with production, maintenance, quality, and safety departments to identify needs, define solutions, and integrate projects while considering food quality standards.
  • Manage budgets and deadlines for electrical projects, control costs, and ensure completion within established limits.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international electrical regulations, including REBT and ATEX, internal company policies, and food safety standards including HACCP, BRC, and IFS.
  • Participate in preparing and updating technical documentation for existing electrical installations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the energy efficiency and reliability of the plant's electrical systems while considering food safety and hygiene requirements.
  • Provide technical support and resolve electrical faults for maintenance and production teams.
  • Stay current with technologies and trends in industrial electrical engineering, safety standards, and food-sector quality standards.
