- Skilled nursing rehabilitation experience is required.

- Communicate with Occupational Therapists regarding progression of the plan of care.
- Implement interventions and provide education in line with the plan of care and within the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant scope of practice.
- Recommend adaptive equipment or durable medical equipment to help patients achieve safe independence in activities of daily living.
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs while supporting the hospital’s mission and values.
- Document and bill appropriately.
