Senior UniData Developer — Payroll & Benefits Administration Engineering

About the Role PrismHR is the technology engine behind Vensure Employer Solutions, building and maintaining the systems that power benefits administration, payroll, and global compliance for businesses around the world. We're not a support desk — we're a product engineering organization that ships new capability every sprint. We're looking for a Senior UniData Developer to join one of two squads — Payroll Systems or Benefits Administration — where you'll help design and build the next generation of features on top of a mission-critical UniData platform. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be working alongside a Product Owner, Business Analyst, and QA engineers in a true agile squad to take ideas from concept to production.

What You'll Work On • If you join Payroll: systems that calculate and close employee payroll every cycle, manage PTO accrual and usage, and handle the complex rules that keep payroll accurate and on time. • If you join Benefits Administration: systems that power new-hire onboarding — benefits elections, bonus and compensation setup, 401(k) enrollment, health insurance configuration — for HR teams using our platform. In both cases, you'll be designing and building new functionality, not just patching what already exists — working from requirements through to release, with real ownership of the features you ship.

What Makes This Role Different Most UniData opportunities today are maintenance and production-support roles. This one isn't. We're actively investing in this platform, which means you'll get to do the part of the job that's genuinely hard to find elsewhere: building things from scratch, shaping how a legacy platform evolves, and having real input into technical decisions. We're also bringing AI-assisted development into how our teams work. You don't need to be an AI expert on day one — but you should be genuinely curious about it and open to changing how you work as new tools and practices are introduced.

What We're Looking For • Senior-level UniData development experience — this is non-negotiable. Strong hands-on background with UniData (or closely related MultiValue/Pick database platforms such as UniVerse, jBASE, D3, or mvBase) is required. • A builder's track record — you can point to specific features or systems you personally designed and built from the ground up, not only tickets you closed or bugs you fixed. • Curiosity about AI-assisted development — hands-on experience with AI coding tools is a strong plus; at minimum, genuine interest and willingness to learn is expected. • An open, adaptable mindset — comfortable adjusting how you work, learning from teammates, and evolving practices rather than defaulting to "the way I've always done it." • Solid agile team experience — comfortable working in sprints, alongside QA, a Business Analyst, and a Product Owner. • Based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh — and available for a split shift (part of the day on-site, part remote) aligned to 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
