Youth Sports Coach - Tennis, Golf, & Pickleball
About the job
- Experience working with children in any setting, such as schools, camps, babysitting, or volunteering.
- Availability in the afternoon, around 2:30–5:30 p.m., for 2–5 days per week.
- Willingness to work short shifts, typically 1–3 hours per day.
- Reliable transportation and ability and willingness to transport equipment to and from class.
- Ability to complete onboarding paperwork promptly; processing takes several weeks.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test required by partner schools.
- Strong communication skills, including responding quickly to administrator messages and clearly communicating how classes went.
- A positive, reliable, professional attitude.
- Passion for working with children and helping them grow, and a passion for sports, movement, and keeping children active.
- Teach youth classes in tennis, golf, and pickleball for children ages 3–14 across Wake and Durham counties.
- Participate in provided training and use the provided curriculum.
- Engage children playfully and help keep them active.
- Experience in the sports being coached is preferred.
