Requirements
  • An active Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license and current Department of Transportation Medical Card are required.
  • A proven safe driving record and commitment to safety are required.
  • The candidate must be physically able to lift or carry up to 100 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
  • The candidate must complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
  • The role requires reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, customer-service orientation, and the ability to communicate and work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a concrete mixer truck with a Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license to safely transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
  • Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide customer service at each job site while representing SRM Concrete professionally.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Follow Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and company safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
  • Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready-Mix Driver, or construction-delivery driver is preferred, although motivated newcomers are welcome to learn.
