Requirements
  • At least 3 years of commercial refrigeration or food equipment service field experience with solid troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to run after-hours and weekend emergency calls when scheduled for on-call duty.
  • EPA certification.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with dispatch, parts personnel, and fellow technicians.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with customers.
  • Ability to document work clearly using work-order video and explain issues, solutions, and next steps to customers.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain walk-in refrigerators, reach-in refrigerators, ice machines, and line cooling equipment.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, parts personnel, and fellow technicians while working independently in the field.
  • Use work-order video on every job to document work, educate customers, and build trust.
  • Close the loop on quotes by clearly explaining issues and solutions to customers.
  • Leave each job site in better condition than it was found.
  • Diagnose and repair hot-side equipment, including fryers, ovens, griddles, steamers, and dish machines.
  • Handle after-hours and weekend emergency calls when scheduled for on-call duty.
Desired Qualifications
  • CFESA certification.
  • Original equipment manufacturer certifications.
