Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managed file transfer, integration engineering, or platform engineering roles, with demonstrated technical leadership experience.
  • Strong experience with managed file transfer platforms such as Axway Secure Transport or similar enterprise file transfer technologies.
  • Deep understanding of secure transfer protocols and related technologies, including SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, encryption, keys, and certificate management.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Shell, Python, JavaScript, or similar tools, along with working knowledge of APIs, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting, and production support for business-critical platforms.
  • Experience with observability, service metrics, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and experience supporting secure, scalable enterprise integrations in hybrid environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and influence decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering, design, and delivery of the enterprise managed file transfer platform, including secure transfer patterns, workflows, scheduling, encryption, automation, and resilience.
  • Own platform architecture and technical standards to ensure secure, scalable, reliable, and supportable file transfer services.
  • Drive modernization initiatives, including automation, self-service capabilities, API enablement, continuous integration and continuous delivery integration, and cloud adoption where applicable.
  • Establish and improve observability through dashboards, alerting, logging, service metrics, and reporting to support proactive service management and continuous improvement.
  • Provide engineering oversight for service health, escalations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and long-term reliability improvements.
  • Partner with operations, infrastructure, security, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions and define operational readiness requirements, including runbooks, monitoring, training, and handoff artifacts.
  • Support governance, audit, and risk management activities by ensuring strong technical controls, secure onboarding standards, certificate management, and remediation of platform vulnerabilities.
  • Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the managed file transfer platform, influencing roadmap, vendor strategy, technical debt reduction, and service-quality outcomes.

Verisk Analytics CEO Lee Shavel sold 2,500 shares of common stock for $550,000 on 29 July 2026, according to an SEC filing. The shares were sold at a weighted average price of $220.00. Verisk CIO Nick Daffan steps down after 20 years as CTO takes interim role

Verisk Q2 earnings beat estimates at $1.98 per share on insurance growth

Verisk reported second-quarter 2026 diluted adjusted earnings of $1.98 per share, beating estimates of $1.94 by 2.1%. Revenues reached $806.3 million, topping consensus of $802.4 million and rising 4.3% year over year. Underwriting revenues increased 3.5% to $569 million, driven by annual price increases and expanded catastrophe solutions. Claims revenues rose 6.3% to $237 million, led by anti-fraud analytics and restoration solutions. Adjusted EBITDA grew 4.2% to $463.6 million, with the margin at 57.5%. However, GAAP net income fell 9.8% to $228.6 million due to higher tax rates and increased interest expenses. Free cash flow surged 57.9% to $297.9 million.
